We’ve had a rough week last week. It was devastating and I feel hopeless. Music is one of the few things that can help me cope and get through the day. So without further ado enjoy this album. It’s greatly needed in such a time as this. This is the group’s first album in 18 years and it’s the last to feature rapper Phife Dawg who passed away earlier this year at the young age of 45. The album features Kanye West, Andre 3000 and Kendrick Lamar and more.

Released this past Friday, A Seat At The Table is unapologetically black. It’s #BlackGirlMagic. #BlackBoyJoy. #BlackLivesMatter. With all of the awful things going on in 2016, this album is much needed. It’s self-care, a celebration of individuality, self-empowerment, black womanhood, and did I mention that it’s unapologetically black?
