Last year Afropunk.com began a new feature on their site titled Afropunk Mixtape. This second installment is titled “Black Lives Always Mattered” and features songs which were released this month from D’Angelo, We Are Shining, and The OBGMs, there’s a classic track from Fishbone, and an exclusive remix of an unreleased track from J Cole. Hope you enjoy. The artwork is in honor of Dr. Charles Drew, the inventor of the Blood Bank ((June 3, 1904 – April 1, 1950).
