It’s that time of the year again! Banned Books Week arrives next week on September 23rd to the 29th. The annual event celebrating the freedom to read highlights the value of free and open access to information. This year’s theme ““Banning Books Silences Stories,” focuses on speaking out against censorship.
Around the country libraries, groups, and individuals in the community will host events so check out your local library to learn more. You can visit the Banned Books Week website to access more resources.
