Dr. Martin Luther King: Remembering His Words

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most prominent faces of the Civil Rights movement back in the 60s and today we honor his memory. Here are three infographics I created using Piktochart that capture some of his notable quotes and memories of the “I have a dream” speech.

In the midst of what’s going on throughout the world-racism, sexism, colorism, misogyny, misogynoir, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, poverty, terrorism of all kinds, and more-there is still hope for a better tomorrow. Let Dr. King’s words and some of his actions (for he wasn’t perfect but don’t let that diminish from what he was doing) along with the many other known and unsung heroes and heroines of civil rights throughout the ages inspire and guide you to contribute to making a better tomorrow become reality.

Peace to all of humankind.
